Diabetes mellitus is a silent disease and is now recognized as one of the fastest growing threats to public health in almost all countries of the world .It is also called the ''disease of prosperity''. Foot ulcer is one of the most common and dreadest complications of diabetes mellitus. This is also a frequent cause of hospitalization and disability.
