Glinus lotoides L., an endangered medicinal herb, is valued for its dietary vegetable and medicinal properties. It is propagated by seed. However, the seeds remain viable for very short period of time resulting in scarce distribution throughout the world. Hence, the objective of this study was to enhance germination of the seeds and to develop a micropropagation protocol for this plant. For seed germination experiment, Plant Growth Regulator (PGR) free MS (Murashige and Skoog) medium, filter paper and potted soil were used.
