The central part of Addis Ababa is characterized by dilapidated houses and slums. This is mainly because of a larger decay of the area, the informal settlement and lack of urban upgrading and redevelopment. To assess the effects of urban redevelopment on the livelihood of resettled households, Senga Tera Firdbet Project-I was taken as a case study spot among the 23 LDP which were part of the project in Addis Ababa and the researchers used a mixed research design which included both quantitative and qualitative approach.
