The survey was conducted with the focus to determine the awareness and use of Web 2.0 tools by librarians in Anambra state in Nigeria. Questionnaire was designed and distributed to all professional librarians in the state who are members of the Nigerian Library Association. Result shows a low awareness and use of Web2.0 tools by the librarians. Social networking sites are the mostly used among the various tools. Their use of the tools is dependent on the librarians’ place of work with the academic librarians using the tools more than others from other places of work.
