This report provides an analysis of consumers’ perception on security and privacy issues in e-commerce. The main objective of this research is to analyze the consumers’ perceptions on security and privacy and formulate recommendations based on the findings that would contribute in eradicating these issues and boosting consumer confidence. It also provides a brief discussion on the implications of e-commerce for both customers and companies, the emerging concerns over privacy and security, and the importance of consumers’ perceptions on security and privacy issues in bolstering e-commerce adoption.
