The study sought to determine the satisfaction and commitment among teachers of public Senior High Schools in the Tamale Metropolis. The study gathered data from two main sources namely secondary and primary sources. Questionnaire survey and interview schedule were the main instruments employed in gathering primary data for analysis. The following key findings were established through the study. The findings indicated that the following will increase teachers’ satisfaction and prevent attrition. These are: participation in decision making, good working environment, adequate support from parents, school heads, colleagues and the public, provision of accommodation and incentives package, students’ performance and discipline among students and...
