Catastrophic flooding struck Pakistan between late July and August causing devastating effects on human lives, agriculture, livestock, infrastructure and communication in the living history. This paper focuses on the post flood agricultural livelihood and food security issues and the way forward in the province of Balochistan. It analyses the loss incurred in agriculture and livestock in Balochistan with reference to the data collected through NGOs and activist groups. A thorough analysis reveals the information about field crop damages, irrigation infrastructure damages and loss to the livestock in Balochistan.
