Water samples from Keana mine area of Nasarawa State were analysed for some trace metals concentration, using the Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry technique (ICP OES). The results of the analysis were compared with the standards of the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the European (EU) for domestic water.A total of 12 water samples were drawn from sources across the study area, comprising of 4 well samples, 4 stream samples, and 4 borehole samples.
