500 Samples of high vagina swabs (HVS), endocervical and urethral swabs were collected from women of reproductive age 15 to 49 years with suspected vagiitis at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, Kano, Nigeria. The specimens were investigated for the presence of Candida albicans, Trichomanas vaginalis and Neisseria gonorrhoeae. Organisms were found to be more prevalent among the age group 21 – 30 years and those women that husbands were drivers or motor mechanics.
