Comparative study on the historical development of police is a good way to know the evolvement of different policing systems of the world. Thus, analyzing various policing systems of the world can aid the researchers and professionals to apprehend different facets of such systematic development of police forces. In this article, a comparative historical context has been extracted to apprehend the similarities and dissimilarities of the formal policing system of different countries.
