Sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) is an issue which has caught the attention of academics and practitioners alike. There have been several studies conducted thus far which have evaluated its environmental aspect. However, the organization should be interested in both environmental and social responsibilities. To develop this research base on resource-based view, the study aims to evaluate drivers and performance outcomes of environmentally and socially responsible purchasing practices. This paper uses a conceptual framework examines the literature for analysing this relationship.
