The study examined the performance of maize production in Osun state and the factors affecting maize production in Ilesa East and Ilesa west Local Government areas. Data were collected with the aid of structured questionnaires from 100 respondents selected through random sampling technique. Data was analysed using multiple regression and budgetary technique.The result the profitability analysis revealed a profit per naira incurred to be N1.022k.
