Cocoa Research Institute of Ghana (CRIG) has introduced a number of innovations to increase cocoa yield per hectare. The main objective of the study was to determine the impact of intensity of adoption of these innovations on cocoa output. A sample of 600 cocoa farmers was selected through a multi-stage sampling technique for the study. An interview schedule was used to gather data and OLS was used to estimate the impact of intensity of technology adoption on output. Results of the study indicated that output of cocoa had positive relationship with household size, farm size, education, membership of association, credit access and technology adoption.
