This study has been conducted to examine the socio-economic condition of the respondents; to identify the factors that influence over the income of the family members; to reduce poverty by generating agro-based employment opportunity. The study area is the Solimpur village of Trishal, Mymensingh. The samples are homogeneous in terms of income, religion and character. Among the respondents one hundred and eighty five households are selected as sample. About 68 percent villagers are illiterate and 50 percent directly involved with agriculture.
