A mobile ad hoc network (MANET) comprises of accumulation of mobile nodes which are not enclosed in any type of infrastructure. The nodes in a MANET can do communication with one another and can move everywhere with no restriction. This easy deployment and non restricted mobility features of MANETs make them suitable and popular for military and emergency operations. The nodes are mobile in nature.
