The wood processing industries in Nigeria are bedeviled with a lot of problems. Some of these problems include deforestation, lack of appropriate machinery for processing, erratic power supply, unfavorable government policies, high taxes and duties as well as inherent problems in wood processing such as defects and bio - deterioration.
