This study was develop to solve the problem of students poor performance in public examinations from the view of teacher/ student relationship, giving specific attention to social capital formation as a determinant for its improvement. To achieve the above objective, the researchers developed a survey method of study with the help of questionnaires distributed to a sample size of 120 that was randomly selected, primary data was collected to test the research hypotheses. The researchers used correlation co-efficient with the help of Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) to determine the relations between the variables.
