This study examined the causes and effects of street children in Nigerian Setting. Data were gathered from 3036 street children comprising of 2916 males and 120 females from the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria using ROIANDPAUL Inventory, in-depth interviews (IDIs) and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Result of data analyses using Pearson Product Moment Correlation statistics procedure indicated that types of parent-child-relationship, type of home and peer group influence were effective in explaining street children’s practices in Nigerian setting.
