Electronic banking has gained increasing popularity and thus attracted the attention of both academics and practitioners. This paper aims to collect bank employees' perceptions of the potential benefits and risks associated with electronic banking in Nigeria most especially the post consolidation era. Primary sources were used to collect the data and were analyzed via mean score analysis. The results suggest that bankers in Nigeria perceive electronic banking as tool for minimizing inconvenience, reducing transaction costs, altering customers queuing pattern and saving customers banking time.
