Training of employees has not been taken seriously by many organizations, more so when the organization faces challenges that appear more pressing. This study assessed the role of training on employees’ performance at the Tamale Teaching Hospital. The key issues the study considered includes identifying whether there are training practices at the TTH, and also assessed the effectiveness of training practices the TTH undertakes. The study used a sample size of 160 respondents with questionnaire as research instrument for data collection.
