The investigation analyzes, through a single case study, the existence of aspects of culture, strategy, the exercise of power and organizational behavior that affect the performance of managerial roles carried out by regional branch managers of a multinational company operating in Brazil. The study was conducted based on propositions of the literature review that supposes the influence of the reference constructs on the performance and of this on exercise of the roles. The findings show the positive perception of the regional managers regarding the managerial roles proposed by Mintzberg. Discussion and implications are limited to the single case study.
