The Act authorizes the issuance of search warrants to certified university, college, and school peace officers, as well as to state and local criminal law enforcement officers. Further, the Act provides that campus peace officers may execute search warrants off-campus for crimes committed on-campus when accompanied by a certified peace officer of a local law enforcement unit
