The MHC class II genes, DQA and DQB, were PCR amplified in 95 bottlenose dolphins from Florida Atlantic coastal and estuarine habitats. The proximal promoter and peptide binding regions from both genes were amplified with barcoded primers and products were ~350 bp. Samples were pooled and sequenced on Ion Torrent PGM using a 318 chip. See the README file for barcode and sample information
