This data file contains geographical coordinate data for herbarium specimens representing six lineages of Cape plants. The precision of geo-referencing is indicated via a precision score. Specimens used were mostly from BOL, NBG and/or PRE. For each record, we indicate the source herbarium, collector and collection details (including a verbal description) and the coordinate data
