Antonia Zamora is Director Emeritus of the Black Cultural Center, 1973-1995. He recounts the challenges, opportunities, mission and goals of the BCC. He discusses the wide ranging and diverse programming sponsored by the BCC, including outreach and the library with its strong collection in African-American poetry, fiction and the social sciences. Among his many honors and awards are the Sagamore of the Wabash and the establishment of the Antonio Zamora Endowment Fund to promote leadership at BCC.
