Jerome Goldman was born and raised in New Jersey and received BS in Aeronautics & Astronautics (1947) and MS in Education 1965. He talks about his time in the military [Air Force] and as a student at Purdue in the 1960s and 1970s. He was hired to work for Purdue Airlines [Purdue Aeronautics], a charter airline. Goldman also had involvement with Civilian Pilot Training [CPT], an act passed by Congress in 1939 and ended in 1944. Purdue Airlines was sold in 1968 and many of the pilots went to work for Southwest Airlines.
