Photograph of School of Science; Physics; A forward step in improvement of the teaching of physics and science in general was made Saturday when M.W.Welch and R.E.Welch of the W.M.Welch Scientific Company, Chicago, presented to Purdue University several thousand dollars worth of equipment and supplies to be used in the Science Teachers Workshop at the University. Science teachers from throughout the state participated in the dedicatory program. Other items will be included in the Welch gift as new equipment and supplies come on the market. The Science Teachers Workshop is designed to afford useful information to science teachers from throughout the state.
