Datasets comprised individual-level functional information (i.e., functional traits) on woody species from two different cerrado (Brazilian savannas) forms: four savanna woodlands (campo cerrado) and two woodlands (cerrado sensu stricto). The following functional traits are available from six different locations (communities): plant height, bark thickness, basal area, specific leaf area, leaf area, leaf dry matter content, pollination and dispersal syndromes. It also includes for some sites information on stem specific density, leaf N and P content, resprouting at soil level and clonal reproduction
