Calculation of forest biomass requires the use of equations that relate the mass of a tree or its components to physical measurements that are relatively easy to obtain. Presented is the available data for various tree components (foliage, bark, stemwood, etc) of the five major tree species of interior Alaska. The tree components sampled and the number of sampled trees by species varied between the studies presented. Information collected by a number of researchers from a number of studies preformed from 1972 to 2004 are combined into one dataset
