A review of studies on the nursery role of nearshore habitats

All available publications and know data sets that addressed the role of nearshore habitats as nurseries was reviewed. We recorded what species were examined, what habitats were examined, what factors might have incfluenced the nursery role (e.g., landscape scale or biotic factrors), what parameters were measured (density, survival, growth or migration), and what sampling techniques were used
