Previous studies have showed the existence of physical attractiveness phenomena. However, the examine of individual differences for perceiving attrativeness is not enough. In this study, we hypothesized that individual differences for perceiving attractiveness would relate with the personal belief, that is, the sympathy for feminism. The relationship between the feminism scale of Suzuki(1987) and the individual differences for the perception to attractive-unattractive person was investigated. Our hypothesis was not fully supported. However, it is indicated that there is an idiosyncratic difference for perceiving other appearances and sufferableness to the attractiveness stereotype.8KJ00000075719departmental bulletin pape
