Multicultural issues in counseling continue to be a focus of practice and research because of the rapidly changing racial, ethnic and cultural profiles of persons seeking services in the United States. This study examined the perceived multicultural counseling competence of 85 counselor educators in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania by using the Multicultural Awareness Knowledge and Skills Survey (MAKSS) (D\u27 Andrea, Daniels, and Heck, 1991).
