Abstract - Scholarships are given financial assistance to individuals for the purpose of helping the sustainability of education pursued. Along with the number of students who apply for scholarships while the number of recipients is limited, we conducted a selection process in awarding scholarships, but this time in the selection process they are objective because the assessment is only based on GPA, active in the organization and closeness with the lecturer or on the recommendation of teachers so awarding scholarships achievement sometimes not well targeted. For that we need a model of decision support determination of recipients excel in STMIK Banjarbaru. This research aims to develop a decision support system modeling achievement awardees determination based Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) in STMIK Banjarbaru. The benefits of this research to ensure that ratings are not objective and based on the criteria that have been determined. Simple Additive weighting method (SAW) considered suitable for selection for admission scholarship Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) will make the process of ranking the popularity of attributes with different weights so the results are optimal.Keywords : Scholarship , SAW Abstrak – Beasiswa merupakan bantuan keuangan yang diberikan kepada perorangan dengan tujuan untuk membantu keberlangsungan pendidikan yang ditempuh. Seiring dengan banyaknya mahasiswa yang mengajukan permohonan beasiswa sedangkan jumlah penerima beasiswa terbatas, maka dilakukanlah proses seleksi dalam pemberian beasiswa, namun selama ini dalam proses seleksi masih bersifat objektif karena penilaian hanya berdasarkan IPK, keaktifan dalam organisasi dan kedekatan dengan dosen atau berdasarkan rekomendasi dari dosen sehingga pemberian beasiswa berprestasi terkadang belum tepat sasaran. Untuk itu diperlukan suatu model penunjang keputusan penentuan penerima beasiswa berprestasi di STMIK Banjarbaru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sistem pemodelan penunjang keputusan penentuan penerima beasiswa berprestasi berbasis Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) di STMIK Banjarbaru. Manfaat dari penelitian ini untuk menjaga agar penilaian tidak bersifat objektif dan berdasarkan pada kriteria-kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) dianggap sesuai untuk seleksi penerimaan beasiswa karena Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) akan melakukan proses perangkingan berdasarkan atribut dengan bobot yang berbeda-beda sehingga hasilnya lebih optimal.Kata kunci: Beasiswa, SA
