Different Compression Techniques: A Literature Survey

In this paper we address the fast and efficient compression techniques. Image detection is the computerized method of locating the face in the digital images .In this paper presents human image detection from the color images. A Discrete Cosine Transformation (DCT) is a Fourier Transformation similar to the Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) [01], but using only real numbers. Next the wavelet approach is considered which includes only the Haar Transformation, which takes the average and differences of the pixel values. Next the simultaneous encryption technique. These two images compression strategies are examined for their Relative effectiveness.
