This article presents an account of the two criteria provided by Aristotle to separate voluntary actions from the rest as well as of his analysis of the mixed and non-voluntary actions and of what should be. This account focuses on the Nicomachean Ethics (NE) and mentions the Eudemian Ethics (EE) only sparingly.
