Fifty-five genera and 137 species of hepatics have been recorded for the Interior Highlands. One species, Metzgeria crassipilis, and one forma, Marchantia polymorpha f. aquatica, have been added to the flora of the region. An illustrated key to the taxa, a brief habitat summary for each species, a table of distributional data, and a survey of the literature is included
