This study sought to determine the differences in corporate practices of Cox\u27s three organizational types in addressing the issue of diversity in the workplace and to compare the outcomes each has experienced as a result of their diversity efforts. Ten Human Resource professionals representing a variety of industries were interviewed, their organizational practices regarding diversity examined, and the outcomes of their efforts assessed. The importance or value that each organization placed on diversity directly influenced the benefits they experienced as a result.
