Increased smuggling of second-hand clothing into Nigerian market, has negatively affected the con- sumption of locally-produced clothes, the cultural value of modest dressing and the pass me down clothing culture. The study argued that pass me down clothing can be regarded as internal second hand clothing. This study focused on revisiting internal second hand clothing as new marketing oppor- tunity for clothing and textile practitioners in Yoruba land.
