The objective of this work was to know the bryoflora of a fragment of Brazilian Cerrado, located in the state of Maranhão. The collection of the botanical material was realized in the period of December 2015 to May 2016 in the village Buriti Corrente, where were realized random walks in the estation out in the rainy season for a greater exploration of the collection area, following the usual methodology for the group. The collected specimens were identified with taxonomic keys and specialized literature, being determined by specialists in the study group.
