The mixed convective transport of Cu-H2O nanofluid in a differentially heated and lid-driven square enclosure in the presence of a rotating circular cylinder is investigated numerically. The top wall of the enclosure is sliding from left to right at a uniform speed while all other walls are stationary. A thermally insulated circular cylinder is placed centrally within the enclosure. The cylinder can rotate about its centroidal axis. The top and bottom walls are kept isothermal at different temperatures while the side walls are assumed adiabatic.
