There is a necessity of consideration of possibilities of im-provement of professional skill of teachers in the chairs teaching foreign languages and adjacent disciplines with them.The purpose of our article is consideration and revealing of advantages of one of traditional ways of improvement of professional skills and activity control in not language high schools which is self-attendance.Consideration of idea of reciprocity as a favorable way of improvement of professional skill of teachers on chairs and possibility of interaction for teachers of a foreign language; consideration of problems of the correct analysis of a lesson and the plan of a lesson within the limits of control of activity of the teacher; the formulation of some base rules most an effective utilization of this way of improvement of professional skill enter into this problem.It is necessary to trace quantity of the hours planned for this methodical work, and also regularly to collect data about self-attendance at teachers.Взаимопосещение занятий преподавателями остается важным инструментом методической работы в вузах. Развитие профессиональной, информационной и исследовательской компетентности должны решаться без отрыва от реализации учебного процесса в вузе. Идея взаимности выгодна.
