ИНТЕРНЕТ КАК СОЦИАЛЬНЫЙ ИНСТИТУТ (К ВОПРОСУ О МЕТОДОЛОГИИ ИССЛЕДОВАНИЯ)

The work objective is to analyze and to systematize the Internet research methods, to consider the Internet as a principally new, rather peculiar social institution. The main working methods are formally logical, systematic, generalization and descriptive ones. The academic novelty lies in approving of the theory that the Internet is a new social institution with all appropriate functions both traditional and unique: integrative and communicative. One should prove the institutional approach and generalize the existing Internet research methods. The results of the work are of interest of sociology and cultural studies specialists.Цель работы: проанализировать и систематизировать методы исследования Интернета. Рассмотреть Интернет как принципиально новый, весьма специфичный социальный институт. Основные методы работы: формально-логический, системный, обобщения, описательный. Научная новизна работы заключается в обосновании положения о том, что интернет является новым социальным институтом со всеми присущими ему функциями как традиционными, так и уникальными: интегративной и коммуникативной. Обосновать новый институциональный подход и обобщить существующие методы исследования Интернета. Результаты работы представляют интерес для специалистов в области социологии и культурологии
