The article presents the results of a study of interaction processes the exothermic magnesium briquettes and molten metal. By using planimetry methods topography destruction of the exothermic briquette body was developed. Linear velocity of material destruction exothermic briquette in contact with molten metal was defined.В статье приведены результаты исследования процессов взаимодействия экзотермических магнийсодержащих брикетов с металлическим расплавом. С применением средств планиметрии разработана топография разрушения тела экзотермического брикета. Определена линейная скорость разрушения материала экзотермического брикета при контакте с металлическим расплавом
