This is a study conducted in a Kindergarten classroom to see if reading aloud does increase student comprehension. The study was administered for eight weeks to a group of seventeen students during the 2011-2012 academic school year in Cambridge, Wisconsin. The researcher found a correlation between reading aloud and increased comprehension scores. The data collected concluded that as the number of read-alouds increased, so did students\u27 overall comprehension
