We already know (see “Grundtvig-Studier”, 1950, P. 100—102) that Grundtvig during his students days, 1800—1803, twice appeared as an amateur actor, and appeared on one of these occasions, into the bargain, in a piece written by himself. Now it turns out that soon after taking the examination for his degree in theology (in October, 1803) Grundtvig also appeared on yet another occasion as an actor, in the private theatrical society, “Borups Selskab”.
