The research objective was to determine the effect of using fly ash as a partial replacement of cement on thecompressive strength of mortar soaked in seawater and fresh water (PDAM). The benefits of research are: reducingindustrial waste sourced from the remaining burning coal (fly ash). Research procedure: test the composition of fly ashcompounds, chemical compostion seawater, the characteristics of fine aggregates and make a mortar mixture with acomposition of 1 cement PCC: 3 sand. The treatment of mortar mixture is: reduction of PCC cement (replaced with flyash): 0%, 20%, 30% and 40%. Next, make a 50 mm x 50 mm x 50 mm mortar test specimen, curing it in sea water andfresh water and test the mortar compressive strength at the age of 28.60...
