The Department of Health Science is proposing a revision to the existing graduate program in health education. Three years of focus group data were collected from graduate students. This data indicated the current program leaves students unprepared to teach Health in the K-12 classroom. Specifically, students cited lack of skill in lesson planning, classroom management, and the use of teaching related technology (e.g. smart boards). Accepted - Implementation Effective Date: Fall 201
