Yiqing Bao's poetry calligraphic hanging scroll - 鮑逸卿詩軸

Jun Bao, known as Zongyuan (courtesy name) and Yiqing (pseudonym), was born in Zhuhai, Guangdong, China. Bao is a renowned poet, calligrapher and painter in the late Qing dynasty. People called him, “a talent man of Lingnan”. (Lingnan, a geographic area referring to the south of China). Bao was an imperial scholar and was assigned to official positions during the era of Daoguang Emperor (1782-1850). He excelled at different scripts of calligraphy and specialized in poetry. Two books, “Rongtang shichao” and “Yixiage cichao” collect Bao's poetry.鮑俊，字宗垣，號逸卿。珠海香山人，為晚清著名詩人和書畫家。道光年間中進士，被授與官階。擅長書法，晚年講學於書院，有「榕堂詩鈔」、「倚霞閣詞鈔」傳世，得「嶺南大才子」之封號。Mist on a river drifts along boundless green landscape.
