Ukraine, Orthodox Greek church in Drohobych

Drohobycz. Orthodox Greek Catholic church (Ruthenian) of St. Jura. 1592. Wooden and unpainted. Shingled above the first ten feet (approximately). Interior finely and elaborately frescoed. One of the finest I saw in Poland. The porch outside had wooden pegs, not nails, but the shingles were fastened in place with iron nails. The entrance is on the north side.
