With a camera thorugh [through] North-western China. Photo shows: A little girl with the 'hooded-veil'. Chinese Moslems still retain the ancient Islamic tradition that the women-folk should be veiled. This tradition, however, is today somewhat modified, - for practical purposes - to this 'hooded veil' with an oval cut out for the face.
